A coach will contact players whether they are chosen or not within one week after the last day of tryouts.
If selected, a player will pay a fee of $400 to cover the cost of uniforms, field maintenance and prep, insurance, gym fees for off season training, and league and umpire fees.
Players may also be asked to take part in additional fundraising activities.
We participate in the Kensington Valley Baseball Association and play teams from Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties and participate in weekend tournaments throughout the state.
Travel teams play a 30 – 40 game schedule (including tournaments) starting in early April and playing through the end of July.

| Team Info: | Michigan Expo baseball family is a new organization to Oakland County located in Waterford Michigan. The Expos will have the luxury of two first-rate indoor training facilities.
Located within minutes of each other, the Ballpark Academy has 6 iron mike batting cages, 2 live tunnels with pitching mounds and state of the art equipment.
The Fieldhouse has two 50x115 turf fields which act as the perfect area for conducting team practices, increasing strength and conditioning and as well as batting cages, tee areas and pitching mounds.
These facilities will provide a home for our teams and will allow us to continue to develop our players.
Teams will be participating in the NOBF plus 4-5 tournaments for a total of 40-50 games.

Heading up the program is David H. Martin, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. David has coached 12 Major League Players over his baseball career.

This team is a year round commitment. We practice often & work hard. We occasionally schedule special team events for the boys and work very hard at giving them a fantastic baseball experience.

Additionally, the head coach from last years 9U team will return to coach 9U again.
Last year’s team won four USSSA tournaments, including the Open State Championship and the Super NIT and finished the year ranked 12th in the nation by USSSA.
The 9U team for the 2012 season will be a tournament only team. They will compete in 9-10 highly competitive USSSA tournaments, 3 of which will be out of town.
Out of town tournaments will be a beginning of season kick-off "down south" in Cincinnati/Kentucky/Tennessee and two additional SUPER NIT tournaments likely in Columbus and Virginia.
All other tournaments will be local.

| Team Info: | Grossi Baseball is back for another generation of players and to start a new tradition of greatness! Organization was started in 1980 by a shoe repairman in Flint named Joe Grossi and ran until 1993.
Grossi had a vision of making youth baseball in Genessee County known not only throughout Michigan, but Nationally as well.
During Grossi Baseball's 13 year run, it was responsible for producing many Major League players such as Jim Abbott, Scott Aldred, Jeff Hamilton, and many more.
Grossi Baseball was responsible for producing collegiate baseball players, like Linden's own Steve Buerkel, and Darrin Dreasky. 85% of former Grossi players went on to play at the collegiate level.
Wearing the Grossi uniform was a dream and an honor for many youth baseball players and every scout and local baseball person knew who you were and respected the organization.
In 1981 and 1991, Grossi Baseball teams were National Runners Up and made it to the Connie Mack World Series on three occasions.
All Grossi Baseball teams won their league championships and took on all challengers in Michigan and throughout the country.
Grossi Baseball was known Nationally and during their Grossi runs, several players played against future Hall of Famers like Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Larkin, and Derek Jeter. |

| Team Info: | Our mission is to develop players who are committed to achieving excellence in all that they do building a successful foundation for life through the game of baseball.
After instructing in the Missouri Prospects Baseball system for several years, Coach Morris will serve as the paid head coach of the 11U and 14U teams for 2012.
With over 10 years of coaching experience over many age levels, Coach Morris has had great success in developing players from the youngest ages of travel baseball to collegiate athletes.
Coach Morris and his staff will begin fall workouts in mid-August preparing the team for two fall baseball tournaments.
The Red Sox will continue to develop in the winter months at the Varsity Training Center in Bloomfield Hills in preparation for the 2012 season.
In addition to playing in the NOBF, both teams will play 3-4 spring/summer tournaments in 2012.
This team will also travel to Cooperstown, NY in 2013 for a week long tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

| Team Info: | Michigan Expo baseball family is a new organization to Oakland County located in Waterford Michigan. The Expos will have the luxury of two first-rate indoor training facilities.
Located within minutes of each other, the Ballpark Academy has 6 iron mike batting cages, 2 live tunnels with pitching mounds and state of the art equipment.
The Fieldhouse has two 50x115 turf fields which act as the perfect area for conducting team practices, increasing strength and conditioning and as well as batting cages, tee areas and pitching mounds.
These facilities will provide a home for our teams and will allow us to continue to develop our players.
Teams will be participating in the NOBF plus 4-5 tournaments for a total of 40-50 games.

We will do some minor workouts this fall, then take three months off from all throwing activities, for the health and safety of our kids, and begin our winter workouts in mid January.

A second day of the week we will have a one hour speed and agility class. In February-March we will add in a team defense and baserunning practice at an indoor dome facility every week or two. |

Mid Michigan Fury Travel baseball offers a competitive travel baseball program at an affordable rate.
We compete in 6-7weekend tournaments and encourage the players to play Pony or Senior league during the weekdays.
We practice all winter long and look to play our tournaments from April through October.

Travel teams play a 30 – 40 game schedule (including tournaments) starting in early April and playing through the end of July.

| Team Info: | The Detroit Metro Stars were a 16U team this past summer that finished the season with a 35-4 overall record and won the 16U MABF "A" Division with a perfect 14-0 record.
The team won the 16U USSSA state championship, went 4-1 in the prestigious Black Swamp Tourney, and won their pool in the Perfect Game World Wood Bat Championships in Marietta, Georgia.
They finished ranked 25th in the nation by the Perfect Game for 16u. One of our players was selected to be a part of the National Power Showcase in Arizona.
Looking for elite high school varsity players that will be eligible to play 17u next summer. We have a real need to add a couple power arms for national exposure tourneys that we will be playing in.
Collegiate and pro scouts watch us play. We are looking for other players that would improve our team. We will take players from anywhere in Michigan since most tourneys require travel.
We will play an MABF 18U league schedule, 17U Perfect Game WWBA, Black Swamp, Ultimate Strike Zone, and possible AABC post-season event and other high exposure tourneys.

Our goal is to put a highly competetive team on the field, which we have prepared to compete at the highest level and gain maximum exposure for those interested in playing at the next level.
We will have winter workouts from Jan through the start of the HS season. We will have 2 practices per week once the HS season has ended.

The Thunder will play in tournaments only, with a practice or scrimmage during the week. The quality of play will be maximized, with travel and team costs kept to a reasonable level of affordability.
2012 16,17, and 18U eligible players should feel free to attend the tryouts.
Howard Cohen will be returning to the Thunder this year as Manager, and the coaches will be Michael Mackie and John Ludwick respectively.

| Team Info: | The 2011 Michigan Jets have joined the Michigan Blue Jays Baseball Club for 2012 and will go under the team name "Michigan Blue Jays."
The 2011 Michigan Jets had a 32-13-1 record. They won one tournament, came in second place in two tournaments, and came in fourth place in another tournament.
Please see website for more schedule, information, etc. Team is planning on playing in eight tournaments (all in Michigan). The cost is $350 to play.
Five of the eight tournaments will be USSSA tournaments, with the others being the Triple Crown Sports Great Lakes Spectacular, Madonna Invitational, and South Oakland A's Invitational.
In 2011, the Jets were fortunate enough to be able to play at Eastern Michigan University, Central Michigan University, Northwood University, Wayne State University, and Madonna University.
Blue Jays players will have optional access to The Cage, a 20,000 square foot facility in Ypsilanti.
Concordia University assistant coach Josh Mason has joined the Blue Jays' coaching staff for the 2012 summer season.

| Team Info: | During the 2011 season, the team won the Motor City Pride Tournament, and finished runner up in 4 other tournaments out of a total of 7 tournaments and the team finished with a 25-11 record.
The Michigan Dawgs goal is to act as a bridge between high school and college, and to prepare players for college baseball.
We do not participate in a league setting and are strictly a travel team. This past season we played in tournaments at U of M, MSU, Valparaiso, Midland, Adrian, to name a few.
A majority of our players have played college ball with some signing on to professional teams.
