Placed 4th of 12 teams in the NOBF League. 1st place in the Cavalier Diamond Classic. Runner Up in the Columbus, Ohio USSSA SUPER NIT.

Earned a berth to the USSSA Elite 32 World Series in Disney August 1st through the 8th.

Team will not play in a league but will focus on weekend tournaments. Some tournaments will be 11U and we will drop back to 10U for the Super NITs/States and some other big USSSA tourneys.

We will be having two or more practices per week. This will be an Elite 10U travel baseball team.

Team Info:In 2010, we ranked number one in the state and midwest, and 26th overall in the country at the USSSA "AA" level. The season included several tournament wins including the USSSA "AA" World Series.

Next season we will play a solid "AAA" tournament only schedule consisting primarily of USSSA sanctioned tournaments. We plan to attend 3 Super NITS (MI, OH, TN), the Michigan Major Elite, Open State.

We will also attend the 66th annual Thillens Wood Bat Classic in downtown Chicago. Our off-season training includes fall and winter league ball and indoor practices starting after Thanksgiving.

We focus on individual development, working one-on-one with hitting and pitching during the winter, before tuning up for spring.

Our season starts with weekly get togethers in January for hitting and pitching practice.

Our team will have some boys leaving to join middle school ball. We will have no more than 12 boys on the team, and I expect about 6 open slots.

Team Info:Team consists mainly of players from Ann Arbor but also some from surrounding areas. We will be participating either in the community or the advanced division of the KVBSA this year.

Plans are to play in 5 or so tournaments during the spring and summer. Because AA Middle Schools have baseball, the Stars' philosophy is to encourage participation on these school teams.

There will be a full complement of winter workouts before the outdoor season begins. We will work on conditioning, throwing, hitting, personal and team safety, and defensive skills.

The coach will assist players and their families to organize and participate in additional baseball opportunities for those interested private, semi-private and group lessons and clinics.

Team preparation will include at least ten contracted clinic-style practices run by a former major league player (these clinics are paid for in the regular player fee).

With the tournaments my planning may be a bit different than others but my plan is to start out entering more compatible tournaments depending on our skill level then progressing from there.

Hopefully we can get some tournament Championships under our belt then develop as time goes.

The goal of the team is to train young men to be good baseball players that will compete for starting positions in high school.

Team Info:The 2011 Southfield Cardinals Program will run from November 2010 through August 2011. We will practice twice a week starting in November and 3-4 times per week as the season nears.

Currently our Home field is Sterling Hts Stevenson, and it has been our field for the past 10 years.

We Do not participate in plastic trophy type tournaments. We prefer showcase type tournaments. They cost more and you guys are worth it.

Fall ball is where we do tryouts under "real game" situations and have used fall ball for tryouts for years. We will play a double header the weekend, Sept 12th.
